Trident Continues its Trusted Relationship as Owner’s Project Manager to the Salem NH School District

New Hampshire firm to lead project management of the proposed Salem NH Woodbury Middle School Project and the proposed Salem NH High School Athletic Fields Project

SALEM, N.H. – Trident Project Advantage Group, one of the leading owner’s project management firms in New England, continues its ten plus years serving as the Salem New Hampshire School District’s Owner’s Project Manager and will oversee the due diligence efforts for the planned Woodbury Middle School Improvements project and the planned Salem High School Athletic Field Project, both needing Town Voter approvals. Trident has been involved since the Master Planning efforts on the entire roster of District schools through due diligence, Town Votes, and design and construction for all six elementary schools and the recently completed $75 Million, 400,000 Sf+/- renovation and addition High School project.

“Trident has been a wonderful partner to the school district through the planning and preparation stages and throughout the completion phases. I cannot commend the company highly enough for keeping the District’s interests first and foremost and ensuring that others understood that attention would be paid to every detail,” stated Dr. Michael Delahanty, Superintendent of Schools in Salem, NH. “There is no better client than an interested, engaged, and fully committed one and that is Dr. Delahanty and his District team,” Gino Baroni, Owner and Principal of Trident, stated. “We have seen no more dedicated and determined superintendent, truly interested in the benefit options for the students and staff, while controlling quality and costs for the taxpayers, than Michael Delahanty.”

Having worked closely with Dr. Delahanty for many years, “It, therefore, is no more pleasure than to stay on the team to deliver the proposed last two projects for the District to complete the transformation of 21st century-based education and associated school activities,” expressed Mr. Baroni.

The High School Athletic Facilities project will encompass the much-needed Grant Field renovations and upgrade to synthetic field turf and current track design, along with much needed ADA improvements to public stands and on-field facilities. The intended project will improve student safety regarding field play with state-of-the-art field impact reduction design. This project is scheduled for a Town Vote in March of 2019.

The Woodbury Middle School Improvements Project is intended to upgrade the educational experience and ADA access to 21st century standards. The façade of the original high school portion will be saved and incorporated into the new design at the request of many alumni. The current team includes Lavallee-Brensinger, Architects based in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Harvey Construction Company, CM/Builder based in Manchester, New Hampshire as well. These firms were selected after RFQ/P efforts overseen by Trident and the final selection by the District. This is the last school in the District that needs upgrading to complete the transformation of Salem Schools. This Town Vote is scheduled for March 2020.
