As part of the new Salem NH Police Station Project, Trident introduced the concept that it previously recommended and used at another project of enhancing a municipal facility asset with funds that would have been used for third-party rent or temporary facilities.
The plan includes upgrading several buildings at the DPW location for temporary use by the Salem Police Department during the demolition and construction of their new facility. This concept saved months off of a phased construction schedule and, therefore, taxpayer money.

The committee met on January 23, 2025 for its normal business agenda that included a tour of the in-progress construction. Police Chief Dolan explained the programming of the space that the Police Department Staff would be using followed by Municipal Services Director Roy Sorensen explaining the end use by the DPW staff.

As many know, Roy Sorenson has been appointed the new Town Administrator by the Town of Hudson, NH, and will be leaving shortly. Roy has provided leadership, team building, and direction to MBAC as a working committee which is greatly appreciated. Trident believes in “The Power of Managing the Process” which Gino Baroni, Founder and Managing Principal espouses and which Roy supported wholeheartedly. Thank you, Roy. Nicole McGee, the current Finance Director, will take over as Chair of MBAC.
