New Hampshire firm engaged as Owner’s Project Manager by Rivier University for their new Science and Innovation Center
SALEM, N.H. – Trident Project Advantage Group is pleased to announce engagement as Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) by Rivier University for their new Science and Innovation Center. Trident worked closely with the University and Project team through the pre-construction phase and is now supporting the University through the construction and closeout phases.
As a result of Rivier University’s recent master planning efforts, with the design team of Derck & Edson, LLC, this new 35,000 SF Science and Innovation Center is a key component of the University’s strategic plan Vision 2020 and its commitment to Science research. The University broke ground on the Science and Innovation Center in April 2019.
To prepare students for the 21st-century workforce, the Science and Innovation Center will provide state-of-the-art experiences for biology, biotechnology, nursing, and public health majors. The Center will also enhance the general education of all Rivier students and feature learning spaces that foster experiential learning, laboratories and equipment designed to solve real-world problems, technology that brings science into the classroom, and collaborative spaces for faculty and student research.
Dedicated to expanding teaching and learning in the sciences, the Science and Innovation Center will serve as a beacon for the city of Nashua and beyond, providing a community resource for the pursuit of scientific discovery.
Now one step closer to completion, the Science and Innovation Center held a “topping off” ceremony on September 5th, 2019. School officials, students, staff and other members of the community had the opportunity to sign the final steel beam before it was set into place. The 35,000 SF facility is on schedule to open in the fall of 2020.
